ROBERT HERMAN  KORITZKE
Koritzke, Robert Herman
Of Monrovia, CA, beloved son, husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend, passed away unxpectedly of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Leslee; his two amazing children Alanna and Devin; his mother Margery; sisters Sharon and Lara; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Bob's passion for life and adventure showed in everything he did. He and his family traveled to Europe, the Middle East, the South Pacific, and all over the United States. He was a tireless businessman, always coming up with new ideas.
His mischievous humor came out in his annual Halloween extravaganza, SPOOKY HOUSE! What began as a small haunted house in the driveway of his childhood home in Woodland Hills CA, soon grew into four annual haunted attractions (including Old Town Haunt, Seaside Haunt, and Fearplex) complete with a staff of actors, intricate, hand-built sets, and computerized light and sound effects. Every October, thousands of guests from all over Southern California delighted in the product of his incredible imagination.
He took joy in bringing people together, and could find the light and humor in anything. He will be deeply missed.
To honor Bob, the family requests contributions be made towards a scholarship fund for Bob's two children. Checks may be sent to Leslee Koritzke, c/o Temple Beth David, 9677 E. Longden Ave, Temple City, CA 91780
